Healing Hands Studio was created from a simple idea:  
that creativity can be a form of comfort.

In a world that often feels fast, overwhelming, and noisy, we wanted to create something softer—something that invites you to slow down, breathe, and enjoy a quiet moment for yourself. What started as a small creative dream has grown into a space where art, calm, and everyday joy come together.

✨ Our Story

Healing Hands Studio is built by the two of us—a husband-and-wife team—rooted in both creativity and care.

I (Kelly) am the artist behind every design. My creative journey began with a background and degree in digital arts, including 3D modeling and animation. It was during that time that I met my late husband, Eric, and together we built a life and family.

In 2016, after Eric passed away from cancer at the age of 31, I found myself navigating life with our two young children, who were just 1.5 and 4.5 years old at the time. That season of life brought both deep loss and a profound shift in purpose.

I felt called to care for others, which led me into hospice nursing. Through that work, I’ve spent years supporting patients and families during some of life’s most tender and difficult moments. In those spaces, I came to understand something deeply important—the need for small, quiet moments of peace.

Creativity became one of those moments.

What began as a personal way to unwind and process slowly grew into something more—a way to create comfort and bring a sense of calm into everyday life.

Years later, life brought a new chapter. I met Thad in 2023, and we were married in 2024. He has lovingly embraced both me and my children as his own, and together we’ve built a blended family full of love. Thad also brought his own adult children and young grandchildren into our lives, adding even more warmth and joy to the family we share.

Before joining me in building Healing Hands Studio, Thad worked as a marketing manager for a hospice company, where he shared in the same heart for supporting patients and families. Due to ongoing health challenges, he has since medically retired—but continues to play an essential role in our business, bringing his creativity, strategy, and vision into everything we do.

Today, I bring both of my worlds together—art and care—into every piece I create.

Every design at Healing Hands Studio is illustrated by hand using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, then carefully produced in-house using our Epson and HP printing setup. From the first sketch to the final product, everything is created with intention, ensuring each piece reflects the soft, cozy, and comforting style that defines our brand.

Thad brings the vision to life behind the scenes. As the planner, strategist, and idea-builder, he helps shape the direction of the business, supports the creative process, and keeps everything moving forward with care and purpose.

Together, we’ve built Healing Hands Studio as more than just a shop—it’s a space meant to feel gentle, meaningful, and supportive.
